Our ITAD department at our UK headquarters in Cannock (WS11 8JD) are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. You will support with the processing of IT equipment, such as erasing data using 3rd party software, and making sure everything is data safe before returning to the customer or being decommissioned. Please note, the job is warehouse based and requires standing for most of the working shift.
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (40 hours per week).
What you will do day to day:
- Unlocking of devices
- Releasing of devices from previous customers
- Configure computers
- Data entry and erasing
- Ensuring that all units are data safe before leaving the building
- Diagnosing and repairing faults where possible
- Recording unit information correctly on our in-house system
What you need to succeed at TES:
- Basic IT knowledge (Bios navigation, minor faulty finding)
- Basic understanding of IT equipment (Charging equipment, components, trouble shooting)
- Manual handling
- Good house keeping
- Good attention to detail whilst having the ability to work under pressure
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
- Team player
- Good work ethic
