Job description

An opportunity has arisen to join our Finished Goods Team, in the role of Warehouse Assistant, working within the Export Collation team.

As a Warehouse Assistant based within the Export Collation department you will be using Manual Handling Equipment to pick, pack and load customer orders to help distribute the quality products that our customers know and love, whilst always ensuring adherence to Food Hygiene and Health and Safety policies and procedures. The Warehouse Assistant is primarily responsible for fulfilling our customer demand, by following strict International customer requirements.

This Warehouse Assistant role is part-time, working 32 hours per week over 4 days (Monday-Thursday), on a two week rotating shift pattern, 6am-2pm (week 1) and 2pm-10pm (week 2).

The starting salary for this role is £18,874.40 per year, moving to £20,756 once qualified.

The role is based at our warehouse in St James Business Park, Knaresborough.

Key skills for a Warehouse Assistant:

  • Excellent numeracy
  • Ability to work within a team with variable workflow
  • Experience using Manual Handling Equipment (MHE)
  • Good communication, listening and feedback skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Good IT skills
