Job description
We have an exciting career opportunity for an enthusiastic Stairlift Removal Engineer & Warehouse Operative to join our Andover Installation team.
The role as a Stairlift Removal Engineer & Warehouse Operative is to:
- Remove straight and curved Stairlift products within domestic settings.
- To assist Stairlift Installers with the delivery and installation of straight and curved Stairlifts within domestic settings.
- Unloading the delivery lorry which arrives on alternate days.
- Ensuring stairlifts are available for loading by the Installation Engineers.
Candidates with an experience and background in warehouse work would be desirable, but this is not essential. Our culture of continuous improvement will ensure that you have every opportunity for training and development on new products.
A valid full UK driving licence will is essential. The role also requires and reach FLT licence and a DBS check.
Ideal candidates will be of smart appearance, be self-motivated and enthusiastic, having the ability to demonstrate a high standard of workmanship.
Responsibilities of a Stairlift Removal Engineer & Warehouse Operative:
- Removals of stairlifts
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Working within customer’s homes
- Develop and maintain an appropriate level of technical knowledge of products.
- Responsibility for checking lift specification prior to removal.
- Maintaining suitable records
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Resolving issues to customer satisfaction
- Ensure the safe disposal/storage of removed lifts to the Depot.
- All deliveries are unloaded safely and stored in the correct area of the warehouse.
- Stairlifts are made available for Engineers to load.
- Warehouse and yard are kept in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
Qualifications:
- DBS
- Non-licensable work with asbestos (desirable)
- Reach FLT licence (essential)
- Full UK driving license required (essential)
