Location: St Margaret's Hospice Old Cinema Furniture Shop, Yeovil
Hours: 37 hours
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £20,624.12 per annum
Annual Leave Entitlement: Initial entitlement 33 days (inclusive of Bank Holidays), rising to 35 days after 1 year and increasing dependent on length of service.

About the role
Our Old Cinema Furniture Shop, based in Yeovil welcomes thousands of customers who visit every year. Just a stone’s throw away from St Margaret’s Yeovil Hospice, our team of retail staff and volunteers work collectively to receive donations from our much-valued customers, generating income for the Hospice and ensuring we can continue to provide our services across Somerset to patients and their families.
We are currently looking to grow our warehouse team and would like to welcome a Warehouse Assistant to support our retail operations in the Old Cinema. The successful candidate will assist in organising the warehouse effectively and safely, ensuring furniture, donations and other stock are stored efficiently. An understanding of Gift Aid would be beneficial for this role, although full training will be provided.
This role will entail the packing and unpacking of goods, and assisting with incoming deliveries of furniture or other stock from a variety of suppliers. There will be a requirement to travel across Somerset assisting with the logistical operations of our retail units. It is therefore an essential requirement that the successful candidate carries a full UK Driving Licence.
