We are actively seeking an experienced driver/warehouse assistant with warehouse experience to join our high-performance Sales team in Heywood.

Your day will look like this:

• Multi drop van driving duties around the UK.
• Delivering to our various office locations
• Prepare, pack and load equipment for delivery
• Load and unload delivery courier/transport vehicles containing a variety of equipment
• To ensure equipment is delivered within timelines and with appropriate packaging and documentation
• Do regular checks on warehouse vehicles for fluid levels, proper tyre pressure and cleanliness, report potential safety issues or service needs
• To report to managers any anomalies, lost, stolen or damaged equipment
• To assist in general warehouse operation and organization
• To assist with stock management
• Store, organize and rotate stock utilizing proper storage methods and procedure
• To assist in the preparation and maintenance of audio systems within the warehouse
• Booking in all goods and equipment received into the warehouse
• Assist with stock management using our asset-tracking software
• Assisting with the shipment of all Sales items. Issuing packed weight and dimensions of potential shipments and liaising with Warehouse Manager to issue shipping prices and ensure that shipping deadlines are adhered to.
• Supporting exhibition preparation, load out, build and de-preparation process.
• Assisting the loading and unloading of courier and transport vehicles.
• Using Forklift to load and unload vehicles and ensure efficient working environment is kept
• Identify improvements to performance and processes through Continuous Improvement
• The role may be required to assist, or cover for, other roles within the operating for which full training/support will be given

Your profile:

• Full, UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points and at least 2 years driving experience (required)
• Driving: 2 years (required)
• Strong communication skills
• Forklift license (Reach or counterbalance) would be an advantage
• HGV (class 1 or 2) driving experience would be an advantage
• Fully flexible within weekly hours
