SMK TEXTILES LTD is looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team. The Warehouse Worker will work in our warehouse and perform a variety of duties including receiving, storing, and sorting products.

SHIFT DETAILS:

Monday - Friday 08.00am - 05.00pm (overtime when required)

Essential Functions:

• Loading and unloading containers
• preparing customer orders
• Receive and process warehouse materials
• Sorting and stocking warehouse products
• Enforce all company rules and regulations
• Keep a clean work environment
• Must Have experience in enforcing and implementing health and safety regulations
• Must have a truly exceptional attitude towards servicing customers, internally and externally.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret general documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions in manuals and procedures manuals
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or in conjunction with other personnel
• Capable of standing for long periods of time.
• Fork Lift Truck Licence – Desired
• Ability to work efficiently and build effective working relationships
• Experience in a similar role/environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Batley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
