Stores / Warehouse Operative (Short term contract)
We are looking for a Stores / Warehouse Operative to join our client in Leicestershire, on a short term contract/cover to start asap.
Our client is a leading, independent manufacturer of composite and GRP products producing pattern work, tooling and final components across industry from the worlds of Formula One, automotive, engineering, marine, aerospace, rail and more.
This is a Monday – Friday position hours 8am & 5pm.
This is a great little contract to support our client's busy Stores team with material handling and stock management. Occasional delivery driving may be required so a full, clean driving license is required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Correctly taking receipt of deliveries.
- Ensuring all materials and parts are documented, recorded, and stored accurately.
- Organisation and preparation of customer deliveries.
- Ensuring our stock management system remains accurate.
- Work with the relevant teams to resolve any issues.
- Providing our production teams with the required stock
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Great communication skills, both verbal & written
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy levels.
- Full, Clean Driving License
- Forklift Truck operative
- Comfortable using bespoke computer systems (Full training will be provided)
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions / manuals.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
- Used to working in a fast-moving environment.
Salary:
£15 per hour
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 4-8 weeks
