Job description
Our client in Bury, Greater Manchester is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative for work based out of their manufacturing and distribution site:
The work will involve:
- Picking orders for despatch
- Packing Goods
- Operating Cutting and Packing Machines
- Using scanners
- Loading & Unloading vehicles
- Operating FLT's alongside manual lifting
- Stock Movement around the warehouse
The working Times and pay:
- Sunday to Thursday
- 40 hours per week
- 6-2/2-10 rotation
- £12.62 p/h with a shift allowance of £35.27 on afternoons
- Permanent role after 12 weeks
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Previous FLT experience - Reach, Counterbalance & Boom Truck desirable
- Experience picking orders and ideally operating scanners and Machinery
- Computer Literate for updating Warehouse Management Systems
- Candidates need to be physically fit due to the nature of the goods
