Warehouse Operative
£10.42 per hour

Our client, a large company offering services and distribution of products across the UK, are looking for a Warehouse Operative on a full time temporary to permanent basis! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic company!
As a Warehouse Operative you will be required to carry out various duties which include:
- Loading and unloading vehicles efficiently and safely, ensuring material and lorry is not damaged
- Manual handling of materials to pick and pack orders accurately, efficiently and safely ensuring its ready to deliver on time
- Using a forklift truck to pick material out of the racking ready to be packed for delivery (in-house training can be provided)
- Quality checking of materials
- Using the company computer system to invoice, ship, check stock and maintain stock integrity
- Operating relevant machinery and keeping it clean and well maintained
You will also require the following experience for the Warehouse Operative position:
- Previous warehousing experience
- Counterbalance forklift trained (would be an advantage)
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literate
The standard working hours are from 9am until 5.30pm Monday to Fridays. Candidates will be required to work 6 hours of each shift before having a break.
The hourly pay for this role is £10.42ph per hour, paid weekly in arrears. Company benefits include once you become permanent with the company include:
