WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
Menzies Distribution are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. Providing a first class service with our team in Belfast , this role is based on a basic 30hrs per week working - Monday 10.00 - 16.30 Tuesday - 11.00 -18.30 - Wednesday 11.00-18.30 - Thursday - 10.00 -16.30 - Friday - 11.00 - 15.00
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE DUTIES
- Assemble customer supplies according to packing specifications
- Break down, allocate and load inbound magazine supplies
- Check the quality of packed orders
- Locate over-stocks, enabling efficient compiling of customer orders
- Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
- Adhere to company procedures and policies
- Unload, load, sort and scan deliveries
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE REQUIREMENTS
- Positive ‘can do’ and hardworking approach to work
- Must have pervious warehouse experience
- Must have good mathimatical thinking
- Appetite for supporting colleagues
- Physically fit to meet the demands of a warehouse environment
- Problem-solving skills
- Computer literate
- An ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working to strict deadlines
- Good communication skills
- A FLT licence would be advantageous but not essential
