We now have fantastic opportunities for Warehouse Operatives to join the Team at our Castle Donington Distribution Centre. At 900,000 square feet and split into 3 chambers with a mix of automated and manual operations delivering around two million single items a week during peak, Castle Donington provides invaluable support to both our online and retail operations. We’ve invested millions - But it’s still our people that make the real difference!
We are looking for permanent Warehouse Operatives to join us on our night shift working either 18.00pm to 06:00am or 18:30pm - 06:30am. These are full time 12 hour positions working 38.5 hours per week and will work across the two week rota pattern below:-

We pay a 25% night shift premium for all hours worked between 10pm and 6am.
As an M&S Warehouse Operative, you'll work as part of a team to help all our customers receive their orders when they want them and how they want them. Your role will involve working with beauty, clothing and homeware products across different areas of our distribution centre including pack and despatch.
You will be given full training in our processes and safety to help you achieve your performance targets, which will help us achieve ours.
Flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills will be key as you will learn about and have exposure to different areas of the distribution centre to support customer order flows.
To succeed in this role you'll be able to demonstrate the ability to work both individually and as part of a team to achieve targets. You will be competent in reading, understanding and following directions and instructions. You will also have an understanding of the importance of following and supporting a health and safety culture onsite at all times.
The assessment process for these roles will consist of on-line psychometric testing, if you meet the criteria in these tests then you will progress to an on-line video interview, please watch your email inbox daily for updates on the status of your application. We have plans in place to bring successful candidates in to start their training during weeks commencing 11th, 18th & 25th September 2023.
