Position: Part-Time Reception Class Teacher (suitable for ECTs) Days: Monday, Tuesday and Friday Start Date: September 2023 Salary: MP1-MP6 TeacherActive seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Reception Class Teacher to join a fantastic Primary and Early Years Centre in Greenwich. Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for Reception class students. - Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports the individual needs of each child. - Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and foster a love for learning. - Assess students' progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of their achievements. - Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development. - Encourage parental involvement and maintain open lines of communication to foster a strong home-school partnership. - Contribute to the wider school community through participation in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities. Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with experience in early years education. Suitable for ECTs - A deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and its effective implementation. - Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for young children. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively plan, assess, and differentiate instruction. - Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices and pedagogies.
