Job description
Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse/Yard Operative for our client based in Witham on a temporary to permanent basis.
Our client is looking for hardworking, motivated, and driven individuals to work with their fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Warehouse/Yard Operative, you will be responsible for picking customer orders, stacking & wrapping pallets, along with manual handling tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Picking customer orders
- Stacking and wrapping pallets
- Packing orders
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Reading and working from order sheets
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving products around the warehouse and yard
- Working as part of a team
- Working to deadlines
- Manual handling
Experience, Education & Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a warehouse/warehousing environment
- Counterbalance forklift license advantageous but not essential
- Familiar with manual handling practises
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Literate and numerate to accurately read customer orders
- Must be reliable
- Flexible approach towards work
Own transport is ESSENTIAL due to company location.
Monday - Friday – 8.00am - 17.00pm
In return our client is offering a pay rate of £10.82 per hour.
