Homes for Students is one of the UK’s leading providers of student accommodation.
We are currently looking for a Customer Sales Executive to join our team at The Maltings based in Colchester, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.00am and 7.00pm.
As our Customer Sales Executive, you will be focussed on securing bookings through a service-led approach and you will be a results-driven individual. You will be responsible for enhancing the experience of the students living in the property and maintaining the immaculate presentation of the property for our existing students and for potential residents visiting us. You will meet and greet guests, conduct building tours and ensure a first-class experience for every potential resident from the moment they enquire through to arrival and beyond.
Our CSE will work alongside and assist the central sales team and the Property Manager in meeting revenue targets and drive overall revenue through implementing company initiatives, conducting inbound and outbound sales activity, securing bookings and initiating new marketing ideas and you’ll support open days and intake days as a representative of the property.
You will be a target-driven individual with a natural talent for selling and securing an opportunity. You will be responsible for planning, organising and hosting a packed events calendar which will enrich the experience for our residents and ensure they love living with us, and you will thrive on engaging with a diverse mix of students every day. The events calendar will be rich and varied and will assist in creating a 5-star experience for our residents as well as driving retention in the longer term. You will be the face of student experience and someone with incredible people skills who loves a fast-paced environment will thrive in this role.
To be successful in this role, ideal candidates are required to have excellent IT skills along with superb customer care, communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to understand and respond to the needs of the students and as this is a busy and varied role you will be required to be highly organised at all times.
The successful candidate will be an excellent problem solver and will be responsible for responding to and resolving any complaints. Working hours will be predominantly Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm. Evening hours and weekends may be required on occasion if you are running a late event or attending an open day.
