Job description
Our Client, a well-established expanding manufacturing company in the beautiful county of North Yorkshire are looking to recruit a production operative for their Whitby site. Full Training & company workwear will be provided, along with 33 days holiday per year.
Ideally the Successful candidate will come from a fast paced background and be comfortable working within a team. Have am understanding of health & safety regulations and following the 5's. Be clean and tidy and understand the importance of keeping work space clean, tidy and in order. Machine operating or knowledge would be advantageous. however can be taught for the right candidate.
Duties to include.
Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times. keeping areas clean and tidy and all procedures are followed as directed.
making sure all the production team are provided with the correct stock at the right time as ordered. keeping stock sheets up to date following dispatch.
Checking stock counts with accuracy, to ensure that all goods returned are correctly inputted back in.
Ensuring all goods inwards and outwards notes are completed with accuracy. supporting stock controlller with all stock counts data and book in and disptach stock, recording and reporting any discrepancies.
There is onsite parking available and a staff kitchen, with free hot drinks offered.
This role to temporary leading to permanent after a probationary period, weekly pay, The shift is 2pm - 10pm.
