This interesting role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative to receive, store, pick and despatch freight into and out of the warehouse at Dartford.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all deliveries are unloaded and loaded safely using the correct equipment for handling and moving all freight.
• Use of a handheld scanner for scanning freight and in and out of the warehouse and ensuring corresponds with the appropriate paperwork.
• Adhere to the H&S controls and procedures in place.
• Handle all freight and equipment with due care and attention.
• Represent Davies Turner to all parties in a professional manner.

This position is based at Crossways Business Park in Dartford, which has good road, bus and rail links. In addition, you will need the right to work in the UK – we are not able sponsor work permits.

Warehouse Operative - You:

Previous experience as a warehouse operative loading and unloading containers within the freight forwarding industry;

• Hold a current FLT counter balance license
• Experience in the H&S standards in a warehouse environment
• Previous Manual Handling experience
• Good Communication skills
