Student Engagement Officer
Permanent, Full Time and Part Time hours considered, Term Time Only or All Year
Salary: £20,749 per annum (Full Time Equivalent) (Professional Services Grade 4)
Campus: Cross Campus - Trowbridge, Chippenham, Lackham & Salisbury
About the role
An exciting opportunity to join our Student Services team and play a key role in the quality of student experience and enrichment. You will focus on the development and recruitment strategy for our Student Alliance at the start of the academic year and once elected students are in post you will continue to work with the student body to develop new initiatives and support existing events to ensure the student voice is present in all aspects of the college.
Other key duties will involve: analysing feedback provided by the students and other stakeholders, producing and monitoring acting plans, attendance at meetings and groups working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, producing informative reports for the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Governors.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need to have recent experience in a customer service type role and of producing communications suitable for a range of stakeholders. A level 3 qualification in an appropriate subject and/or significant experience in a relevant area is essential. Previous experience of working with and motivating students would be an advantage.
