Would you like to join one of the largest providers of communications and IT solutions across the UK as a Warehouse and Logistics Operative? This role is to play an active role in the standard warehouse functions, including but not limited to - Goods in, Order Picking, Stock Control, Despatch and Stock Integrity.

About the role...
- Assist extended logistics team with stock control processes.
- Deal with inbound couriers, unload vehicles and check consignments arriving at location.
- Receive and label stock from multiple sources.
- Where appropriate report non-conforming stock (faulty or incorrect spec using the correct methods)
- Pick stock/orders in line with processes, route appropriately to either despatch or other functions.
- Despatch orders via the carrier and ensure that all outbound consignments are labelled accordingly.
- Drive a FLT and ensure that daily safety checks take place.
- Ensure that any accidents or near misses are reported in line with HSE guidelines.
- Maintain stores areas to ensure a safe working environment.
What do we need from you?
- Experience of working in a warehouse environment – goods in and out
- Have a current FLT licence and some experience (training will be provided for the type in use)
- Attention to detail is critical to success.
- Have a friendly outgoing personality, work well alone or as part of a team.
- Be able to deal with people both internally and externally at all levels.
- Respect the confidentiality of the company and be mindful of the confidentiality of customers data in line with GDPR.
- Engage with the company and processes, make suggestions that improve your working practices and environment. Feedback what doesn’t work.
- Report any potential breaches, near misses or other potential issues.
- Be curious – be willing to learn and experience other functions, this will enable you to grow your career.
- Maths and English at a GCSE equivalent
- Fork list truck Licence – Any
- PC literate
