Warehouse Specialist

Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have state-of-the-art potato processing plants in Prince Edward Island, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Jamestown, North Dakota, and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario. Our Head office is in Dieppe, New Brunswick and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "can do" attitude. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Supply Chain Department at Cavendish Farms.

Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• University degree or College diploma preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite of applications and transportation management systems
• Attention to detail, data integrity, and accuracy.

The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational & business support to both internal & external partners to solve cross border and/or after-hour orders with issues
• Process/receive all warehouse receipts in E1, resolve inbound shipment errors. (Investigate to find the source causing the variation, and make appropriate correction)
• Process all warehouse shipments in E1 and resolve outbound shipment errors. (Investigate to find the source causing the variation, and make appropriate correction)
• Reconcile third party warehouse inventories to E1 and Investigate inventory discrepancies. Identify trends and root causes, request corrective actions.
• Communicate with 3PLs to process inv. adjustments in E1 (i.e. damages, lost ticket/new lot creation, open transfers, cycle adjustments, and mislabeled pallets)
• Analyze/Troubleshoot: Open Receipt from deployment, orders to be invoiced, returns, missing freight & Process customer/DC Returns.
