The CAN Group of companies are leading providers in Engineering, Integrity, Inspection and Maintenance solutions to the energy industry worldwide.
We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Warehouse Assistant for a development role in our busy Stores department at our main offices in Altens, Aberdeen. As well as working within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, the successful candidate will enjoy structured training and career development in the Warehouse Department.
This role is a full-time position working Monday to Friday; overtime may be required.
Candidates should possess the following skills however, as this is a Trainee role training and mentoring will be provided to the right candidate:
Essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be highly motivated, organized, reliable and willing to learn
- Hold Standard grade / National 5 passes in English and Maths
- Full UK Drivers Licence essential
Desirable
- Basic Radiation Protection
- Previous warehouse experience
- Forklift experience
- Dangerous Goods Awareness
- Experience in PPE inspections
- Knowledge of Non-Destructive equipment
- Knowledge of Portable Appliance Testing and HAVS Testing
