Warehouse Operative

Monday to Friday £10.90 per hour - Permanent contract

7.30 - 4.30 Monday to Thursday -Early finish at 1.30 on Friday's

Work in the heart of the South Somerset countryside within easy reach of the A30 and A358.

A manufacturer of beautifully designed contract furniture. They work with some of the world’s greatest designers to create a unique collection of award-winning pieces.

All upholstery takes place on site from start to finish in our renewably powered production facility. A beautiful work location with superb staff facilities including a very modern fully equipped canteen, outside seating and views for days!

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your main responsibilities will include kitting works orders, maintaining accurate stock records, and providing support to production cells.

Your Role Will Include:
  • Stocking materials into designated warehouse locations
  • Conducting quality checks on raw materials
  • Loading and unloading lorries
  • Packing finished goods for efficient dispatch
  • Kitting parts for the assembly process
  • Transporting kits within the facility
  • Assisting in cyclical counting and regular stock counts
  • Maintaining accurate stock records



You Need:
  • Attention to detail and self-motivation to consistently achieve high levels of accuracy and quality
  • Ability to understand and follow specific written schedules and part picking orders to ensure precise execution within the process
- Forklift Truck (FLT) license - highly desirable
  • Proven experience in a raw material stores role
  • Flexibility and reliability in meeting work schedule demands
