The Company
A fast growing global business intelligence organisation providing business critical market intelligence across the media, entertainment, education and consumer electronics sectors.
You will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager in implementing the marketing strategy of the business. This role is therefore both creative and technical.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning and delivery of email marketing campaigns, providing insights and suggestions on enhancing the campaign journey, maintaining the email distribution lists and reporting on the campaign stats.
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and updating of the corporate website, including content writing, design, SEO improvements and lead generation ideas.
- Helping to identify ways to improve the promotion and market awareness of their clients’ services – website optimisation, pay-per-click, free trials for services and report samples.
- Assist with the content creation and distribution of press releases and blogs and develop and maintain new and current journalist relations.
- Manage the social media channels of the company – driving traffic back to the company website and generating leads.
- Support the sales team with artwork requests for both offline and online collateral, including but not limited to; brochures, icons, infographics, flyers and banners.
- Management of the on-going upkeep of the CRM system.
- Monitor, track and report on the performance of the company website and social media channels.
- Supporting the design and delivery of company events and conferences.
- Identify and source potential clients within new markets to deliver targeted marketing and sales campaigns.
- Assisting with ad hoc duties such as administrative and creative tasks.
Person Specification
The successful candidate must have experience in innovative marketing and marketing communications and have some knowledge of CRM systems. They will also have experience of generating press releases and campaign management.
Key Skills & Experience
The role would suite a recent university graduate with one to two year’s experience in a similar role.
Skills:
- Knowledge of CRM systems (preferable Salesforce)
- Knowledge of CMS websites (preferable Umbraco)
- Understanding of HTML code and website design
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding and application of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Creative writing experience (desirable but not essential)

Qualifications
- Degree Educated – either in Marketing or English
- Digital Marketing qualification an advantage
