Warehouse Operative Structured Work -

Order Picking Duties

• Full pallet order picking – FLT work
• Mixed pallet order picking – Manual handling
• Shrink wrapping and labelling pallets - Manual handling
• Stock rotation procedures – Excel knowledge
• Stock movement form completion
• Checking picked pallets

Goods in / Goods out

• Good communication skills and manners required when dealing with drivers/visitors/staff
• Checking deliveries in thoroughly – QC forms to complete
• Checking deliveries going out thoroughly for damages and labelled up correctly
• Counting number of pallets on the stand trailer is correct with the delivery notes

REACH Truck Duties

• Start-up checks
• Putting ‘goods received’ stock away
• Full pallet picking
• Stock rotation requirements

Counterbalance Duties

• Start-up checks
• Receiving goods coming in
• Loading deliveries going out

Stock Taking Duties

• Monthly stock takes
• Annual stock take

General Duties

• Keeping warehouse/yard clean and tidy
• Re-packing and labelling
• Moving snow and gritting yard/car park in winter

Health & Safety

• In-house training
• Offsite training if/when required
• Adhere to all safe working procedures – any areas to improve on submit SMART Card
• Adhere to all health & safety risk assessments, procedures and policies
• Read and save in personal file when reviewed risk assessments, procedures and policies are sent out
• Smart Cards
• First Report

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
