ATKO is a family-owned and managed wholesaler of hardware, farm and garden supplies based in Antrim.
Due to continued growth, we’re looking out for a friendly, efficient Warehouse Operative to join our small and happy team. As we grow, further opportunities will arise within the organisation.
The Warehouse Operative will have an interesting role, being primarily responsible for picking, packing and despatching of customers’ orders as well as maintaining a neat and tidy warehouse.
Key responsibilities
- Goods-out – pick, pack, create courier labels and despatch customer orders. Load goods onto couriers’ delivery vehicles
- Goods-in – receive, unpack, check and put away supplier deliveries
- Maintain stock locations
- Help out in any team tasks such as stock-checking, etc.
- Hit KPIs as set by management
Requirements
- Friendly, positive, can-do attitude
- Efficient and organised
- High attention to detail
- Ability to do manual work including heavy lifting
- Ability to work fast and accurately
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence
- Warehouse Experience (one year preferred)

Shift – 7.30am - 4.30pm, Mon-Fri
Start date: Immediate
Salary - £24,000/year

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
