About the role:
You will be entering a well-established business with a number of refined systems which have been fine tuned and improved over a number of years.
On a day to day basis you will be utilising these systems to ensure the customer gets the best possible service after an order has been placed. You will be responsible for picking, packing and loading vehicles whilst ensuring our deliveries and goods-in management are as accurate as possible.
The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of stock control, customer service and logistics, with a keen eye for detail. They will also need to be organised and used to working in a busy environment. That said full training will be given and there will be opportunity for growth.
The role will be based in our warehouse in E10, but you may be expected to work at other locations on any given day, but not beyond normal working hours. You will work closely with our Warehouse Manager. You will also be required to cover deliveries using our vans on any given day.
Your duties will include:
- Goods-in, purchase order checking and putting away of stock
- Picking and packing for our own vehicles, pallet delivery and parcel delivery
- Loading the vehicles for the day and upcoming days, remaining versatile for late additions
- Daily stock taking
- General warehouse maintenance
- Cover delivery driving where required
- You must adhere to established protocols and systems.

- Health and Safety checks – General, Fire, and Lifting equipment, etc
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience working in logistics & stock management preferred
- knowledge of workplace H&S preferred
- Attention to detail essential to the role
- System based warehouse processing experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Windows programs
- Forklift experience essential
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £12.00 per hour
