Title: Fine Art Warehouse Technician

Reporting to: Warehouse Manager:

Type: Permanent

Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9.00am till 5.00pm

Location: Langley/Redhill

Parkside Recruitment are currently looking for a Fine Art Warehouse Technician for a Fine Art's franchise with offices based in Langley and Redhill.

This position is a full-time, permanent position and the client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Role:

Fine Art Warehouse Technician will oversee the day to day running of the franchise's storage. With particular focus on storage space, record keeping, and high-class client service.

Duties:

• Ensuring all items are safely moved in and out of storage facilities.
• Preparing and packing art works for storage and transportation.
• Organising storage spaces as part of a team to ensure optimum efficiency's.
• Making sure all items are recorded, labelled on the client's storage system.
• Completing and updating all documentation as required.
• Using appropriate safety protocols for use of equipment for handling much heavier items.
• Assisting with moving a variety of cases in and around a warehouse and unloading vehicles when required.
• Maintain safety of the warehouse.
• Ensure that that health and hygiene standards are maintained in company vehicles and warehouse.
• As and when needed be prepared to pickup collections, deliveries and installations in different locations.

Relevant Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior forklift truck experience and license is preferable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have a driving license.
• Experience in handling and dealing with works of art is preferable.
• Training will be given.
