Warehouse Operative

From £10.42 Per Hour
ABT Loadmac – the UK’s only manufacturer of Truck Mounted Forklifts, a progressive and innovative group, with globally renowned products require a full time Warehouse Operative to support the Warehouse Supervisor.
The Warehouse Operative will perform a variety of tasks related to the storage and retrieval of materials and equipment. Ideally you will be experienced in a busy warehouse environment and hold a forklift licence.
This is a varied role and although forklift driving is required this is only one part of broader responsibilities.
Overview of Duties
- Stock replenishment
- Stock put away
- Picking & Despatching
- FIFO stock rotation
- Stock taking
- Manual Handling
- Unloading and loading delivery waggons
About the Person
- Experienced in a busy warehouse environment – Ideally manufacturing but other industries considered
- Forklift Licence (Ideally experienced using pivot steer trucks but not essential)
- Physically Fit as the role requires lifting of stock
- Good Communication Skills
