Due to ongoing success we are recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our morning shift. You will be joining our team on the day shift 09:00-18:00. The team you are joining have varying backgrounds and experience and full training will be given. We are looking for someone who will gel with the existing team and is driven to continually offer excellent service and standards of work. Our warehouse team are responsible for pulling and packing material for same or next day delivery. They keep the customer at the heart of everything they do ensuring that specific requirements are met and the material is packed to a high standard ready for delivery. The role will be varied with some picking and pulling of orders, operating of forklift trucks, unloading/loading of vehicles and operating the warehouse machinery (saws, coater etc).

- 09:00-18:00 Monday - Friday (with 30min lunch).
Requirements of role
- Enthusiastic 'can do' attitude
- A keen desire to learn and support the team to deliver targets
Desirable
- Previous experience working in warehouse
- Previous Forklift experience
Responsibilities of role
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely, ensuring material and lorry or not damaged
- Manual handling of material to pick and pack accurately, efficiently and safely ensuring its ready to deliver on time
- Use of forklift truck to pick material out of the racks ready to be packed for delivery
- Quality checking of material
- Use company computer system to invoice, ship, check stock and maintain stock integrity
- Operate relevant machinery and keep it clean and well maintained
