Our established manufacturing client are recruiting for Bench Joiners or Carpenters based in Northamptonshire. This role is working a day shift of 50 hours per week offering a salary of £29k - £32k on a permanent contact

The role

• 
  Working on high end luxury properties situated around the UK
• Working out on site building internal fixtures for very high-end accommodation
• When working out on site you may need to fully make units either from scratch, flat pack or undertake repairs as needed
• Working with wood mostly as well as metal products
• Quality checking that all units and furniture art to a high standard using a tablet
• Responding to customer call outs off site, evaluating and resolving issues (staying overnight as necessary with digs paid for by the company)
• Meeting company service level requirements to provide a speedy, efficient, thorough and high-quality service
• Producing a quality finish and courteous advice is imperative in this role

• Van, Tools, Uniform (Polo & Slacks) and PPE are provided (including boots)

• Able to work away during the week
• Hold a driving licence
• Working with wood and metal repairing furniture, and fittings within the homes and lodges
• Using handheld tools and machinery on site
• Be comfortable with manual handling with weights of up to 20kg at a time
• Work to tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Understand and interpret technical drawings/plans
• Work collaboratively in a team to achieve common goals
• Take a methodical and systematic approach to your work
• Communicate effectively with both your colleagues and management teams
