WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY
As a Leader operating within the Customer Distribution Centre your day to day will be managing and overseeing the daily operation of picking/packing customer orders.
At present we have a population of over 1000 co-workers striving to ensure happy customer experiences.
You will be leading co-workers and enabling a high performing team. For this role, you will have great communication skills that can help to build relationships and networks with people across the organisation and external contacts. You won't just be a strong communicator though, you will have a keen eye for detail, and knowledge of how to plan - strategically and operationally - in a cost-conscious and efficient way. Delivering a safety focused work environment.

- Competitive salary starting from £30,000.00
- 40 hour contract working 5 days out of 7.
- Shifts will ordinarily be between 06:00am - 14:00pm and 14:00pm - 22:00pm on a rotational basis.
- We operate 7 days a week and so full availability to work during the day, evenings, and weekends is essential.
- Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews.

- Responsibility of looking after the welfare of co-workers, supporting them through their career to set the right goals, and working with their talent during their journey with IKEA.
- Accountability for developing, monitoring performance, and taking those meaningful discussions.
- Working with planning resources according to business needs and you have the ability to manage and lead a team onsite.
- Responsibility for conducting people-related meetings with your co-workers for processes with a focus on the big picture (what is best for IKEA as a whole).
- Leading and developing a change of processes at organisational, group and individual level. Creating a growth mindset.
- Shift accountability for completing tasks allocated by Warehouse Management Team to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations.
