GXO is currently on the look-out for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Matches Fashion team in Park Royal and continue to deliver our high standards with our high performing teams. The site is going from strength to strength, and we need your support to reach our growing goals.
This is a full time, permanent position. You will be working an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern, rotating weekly between a day shift 06:00 – 14:00 and the afters shift 14:00 – 22:00.
Pay, benefits and more:
You’ll be paid a salary of up to £28,000 per annum. You’ll also receive 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
You will lead your team and coordinate activities that will achieve business goals, whilst promoting a team-based culture- You will be aware of any hazards, incidents or accidents and report them to the proper authority to ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained
- You will provide best possible employee relations by positive leadership, encouragement, motivation, regular communication and respect
- You will create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional and team information
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience working in leadership role, within a complex and fast-paced warehouse environment- An ability to work under pressure and within expected deadlines, in an organised and informed manner
- An approachable and professional demeanour, able to question, challenge and deliver process improvements
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills
