We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic person to join our international team in a Team Leader role. This is a full time, permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, any 5 over 7.
Pay, benefits and more:

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Reporting into the Team Manager, you will assume all daily responsibilities for leading the operation, with a high emphasis on communication due to the amount of cross-department working. Dispatching goods for export involve multiple complexities so flexibility, change and adaptability are fundamental for the operation. The Value-Added Services (VAS) completed in Bradford links into the food audits & EU legislation, so accuracy is paramount- You will be responsible for ensuring the team achieves daily operational KPI’s by tracking performance and managing motivation. Coordinating colleagues’ tasks based on the day’s operational requirements and especially time management will be an essential element of the role
- Ownership of the data entry including hours & productivity will be necessary. Extensive knowledge of JDA is desirable due to the amount of systems work required in the role. You will motivate and manage the team to achieve, and where possible exceed, all performance objectives. Continuously exploring and implementing operational and cost efficiencies. Managing any operational issues encountered ensuring prompt communication and escalation where appropriate to all affected parties internally and externally.
- Reinforce all warehouse procedural controls and processes in line with GXO’s H&S policy and produce, raise and circulate reports to communicate processes/handovers.
