Job description
Responsible for the day to day running of the Goods In/Packaging department, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on-time, and that work is delegated to team members
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure that trailers/vehicles are unloaded in time and in full to meet delivery times
- Ensure that deliveries are OTIF within measured KPI’s
- Ensuring that a high level of customer service is maintained, that shortages are minimised, stock is always accounted for and stock picked in rotation
- Maintaining a high level of employee standards, ensuring Health & Safety practices are always followed
- To ensure compliance on an individual and supervisory basis on all company and legislative Health and Safety policy, procedure, standards and regulations and undergo all nominated H&S training
- The control of timekeeping, attendance and breaks
- Monitoring performance of team members
- Liaise with relevant departments in particularly with regard to plan changes, shortages and quality issues
Skills & experience required
- Numerate and literate
- Cool headed and strong leadership skills
- Good reporting skills
- Strong man management skills
- Communicator at all levels and able to form a consensus across departments
- Food safety trained
- Good planner
- Highly motivated and positive approach
Hours of work: 4 on 4 off – Nights – 18:00 – 06:00
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £36,100.00 per year
