Job role: Warehouse Supervisor Nights
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Shift Pattern: Sunday 23:59 start - 08:30am for 5 nights finishing at 06:30on Friday morning
Salary: £30-£32k
Menzies Distribution are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Bristol depot. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers.
WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR DUTIES
- Monitoring of drivers performance,
- Debriefing and processing collections compliantly,
- Planning driver rotas and assigning work,
- Maintaining service levels whilst balancing cost efficiencies,
- People management including reviews,
- Identifying service/compliance failures and implementing solutions,
- Promoting health & safety practices,
- Ensuring effective communication and teamwork between shifts/departments
WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience within a Distribution or Logistics position
- A proven track record of effective people management
- Prioritise and managing tasks in a pressurised environment
- Experience of delivering expanding operational KPI’s.
- A practical approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure
- Computer literate and able to switch from computer to computer
- Great communication skills
