FB The Wholesaler is a family-owned and operated company distributing fresh produce, dairy products and much more to restaurants, schools and care homes across Hampshire. The need for more team members has arisen as the business continues to grow.
Customer satisfaction is our priority so as a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring delivery vans leave the yard on time, loaded accurately with high-quality goods. You will receive and check deliveries from our suppliers and take responsibility for ensuring the warehouses and surrounding areas are clean and tidy, maintaining Health & Safety standards.
As a relatively small team we are looking for flexibility, the need to cover other people’s jobs, the ability to jump on a delivery round, is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
· Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and procedures
· Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
· Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
· Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
· Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
· Manage stock control and reconcile with FB/warehouse system
· Work closely with logistics and plan work rotas/routes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
· Produce reports, report waste and issues around deliveries of goods e.g. RTS quality issues
Requirements
· Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
· Strong decision making and problem solving skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Fork lift license (training could be given)
Candidates with warehouse experience and good product knowledge will be at an advantage.
We would like additional team members from Sunday night through to Saturday afternoon, 24 hours a day, so hours of work can be discussed at interview. Part time is also an option. We are a family focused business who will try to give you the hours you need. Rate of pay will depend on experience and whether you work the day or night shift.

Salary: £11.50-£15.00 per hour
