Warehouse Supervisor £33,000 per annum - Opportunity Biggleswade Monday to Friday 6-2 & 2-10 Weekly Rotating Shift Recruit Mint have exclusively partnered with a global third-party logistics company that is expanding their UK operation with a brand-new purpose-built warehouse in Biggleswade. You will be joining their new flagship warehouse at the very start of implementation, so this is truly a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader / Supervisor. As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be working alongside the Recruit Mint team to onboard the candidates to the operation in the right way which will include the following tasks: Meet and greet new potential candidates on-site and take them through the Recruit Mint introduction academy. The academy will involve talking through a presentation about the company, the and Recruit Mint. Completing the full on-site process including testing (math & visual accuracy), and site tour of the operation and gauge their interest and suitability to the opportunity. Day one training process on the candidate's first day including SOPs, SSOW, training and the introduction to the relevant departments within inbound and outbound. Check in the candidates on your shift on a daily basis ensuring that they are wearing the correct PPE, checking their well being and being a positive influence on the working environment by creating a friendly, approachable, inclusive culture. Become an extension of the operational management team, support the and personnel to exceed the set targets. Plan, organise and manage the daily workload of the Warehouse Operatives in your designated area. Be responsible and take ownership for your teams performance, ensure regular reviews of Warehouse Operatives takes place to drive performance, commercial and operational improvements. Achieve the highest standards of productivity, quality and efficiency as well as looking after our stock accuracy. Analyse stock holding and provide updates to customer and management as appropriate. Create an environment and culture of respect amongst all team members through own example. To attend and participate in daily briefings and communications with the team to ensure the Warehouse Operatives are fully appraised of the daily and weekly tasks as they arise. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation for all team members and conduct audits as necessary. Key Skills: Previous experience within a warehousing environment managing a team of personnel.
