Warehouse Supervisor, salary is circa £31,775 per annum plus excellent benefits including pension, 30 days holiday, discount across Heron and B&M, Employee Assistance Programme, BenefitHub etc. Hours of work are 2pm-10pm, 40 hours a week and working every other weekend.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a step into a management level position as a Warehouse Supervisor. Assisting the Operations Managers and Warehouse Managers to achieve and ensure that resources are in place to meet the main objective of delivering stock to all stores and maximising business productivity.
The successful person will work across all 3 areas including: Dry, Chilled and Freezer.
Flexibility is vital for this role, as you may be required it is to cover holidays or absence for the other Supervisors.
Job Description:
- Motivating and leading a large team to ensure KPIs are met
- Encourage and nurture a positive working environment
- Manage team and individual performance and KPI’s
- Ensure employees are regularly briefed, supervised, trained and appraised
- Ensuring the quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation / Fire Marshall / Accident forms.
- Complete investigations and conduct personal searches as required
- Complete HR processes (Disciplinary, return to work, welfare meetings, recruitment on-boarding)
- Promote and drive continuous improvement projects
- Assisting the Operations Managers to achieve and ensure that resources are in place to meet the main objective of delivering stock to all stores and maximising business productivity.
- TMS management (bespoke package) to record / monitor attendance / sickness and holidays etc.
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Proven team working and interpersonal skills
- Strong management skills, able to efficiently organise a large team
- Experience of a busy warehouse operation environment is essential
- Must be able to motivate a workforce and encourage strong teamwork
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Methodical thinker with excellent planning skills
- Excellent IT and numerical skills
- Experience of Warehouse Management systems
