Reporting To: Warehouse Supervisor
The role of a Warehouse Stock Controller will involve accurate and timely recording of stock transactions in line with actual physical movements, and to provide accurate stock figures to key stake holders in the business.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring booking in of all stock receipts from suppliers and third-party warehouses.
Issuing of production picking lists to the warehouse team.
Reconciliation of the picking list.
Production reconciliation with actuals.
Investigating variations.
Carry out stock analysis reporting.
Daily stock counting tasks to ensure accurate stock levels.
Implementing and improving processes and procedures.
Waste reconciliation with respect to RM and FG.
Creating and reviewing the production plan and the creation of any new products in the ERP system as per requirement.
Analysing supply chain data to ensure the uninterrupted availability of stock.
Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS).
Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock transfers, as well as resolving delays.
Any other reasonable duties, responsibility or requests that may be issued by management from time to time.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience working in a similar role with ERP/Stock control systems.
Comfortable in a warehouse environment.
Excellent IT Skills.
Good attention to detail.
Self-organisation, planning, motivation, prioritising, and time management.
Ability to work on own initiative and a good team player.
Hours to do the role, which may vary accordingly to business demand.
High resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
Positive, pro-active attitude.
