Job description
We are seeking an individual to join our Warehouse Team. The ideal candidate is at least 17 years old, with good attention to detail, has the ability to lift 20 kilograms and the motivation to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be hands-on with picking and packing orders, receiving deliveries and sorting inventory. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided for successful candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Help the warehouse team keep our customers happy
- Picking customer orders using handheld devices
- To package and despatch customer orders using a computer console
- Assembling products ready for despatch
- Assist with incoming deliveries
- Assist in putting away/replenishing stock and packaging
- To keep floors and workspaces clean and organised
- Use proper lifting techniques to prevent injury; Adhere to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other governmental regulations.

Training and Experience gained during employment
- A good understanding of inventory management (sorting, storing, tracking goods).
- Substantial experience of working in a warehousing environment.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Working in a customer-focused business/role.
- Experience in using ICT applications for inventory and customer order management.
- Understanding of Data Protection principles.
Physical requirements
This role requires some heavy lifting and handling (up to 25kg.), and repetitive work. The successful candidates will be provided with complete training on first aid and safe working practices. You will be on your feet for most of the working day, and you will need energy and enthusiasm for a lot of the day. The role also involves the use of handheld technology and time in front of a computer screen.
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £9.00-£10.50 per hour
