All About the Role

Based at our Avonmouth site, we have a vacancy for a Warehouse/Saw Operative the hours are Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm plus overtime.

The purpose of this role is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. Specific tasks could include:

  • Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item
  • Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
  • Operate saws and handle steel
  • Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks
  • Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
  • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way.

Essential Skills for the role:

  • Experience with bandsaws/similar machinery but not essential as training will be given.
  • Be mechanically minded.
  • Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Ideally have operated Fork-Lift or Side-loader.
  • Health & Safety awareness.
