We are looking to welcome you to join the Early Morning Replenishment Team at IKEA Glasgow.
In the IKEA world, we call this position a Goods Flow Co-worker.
Expected Starting Date: 26th August 2023

WHAT WE OFFER
- £10.90 basic hourly rate - Living Wage Foundation Employer
- TEMPORARY contracts for 6 months.
- Part time: 20 hours or 30 hours per week working 5 days out of 7, minimum hours 4 per day max 6 hours per day. You will work 3 out 4 weekends per month.
- Early morning shifts – 4am or 6am starts – finishing at 10am
If your shift starts at 4am you will be paid a nightshift rate of £2.25 until 6am
- Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews
- We offer advanced scheduling & regular weekend off

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
You care about making a positive impact in the world. We are looking for people who like to start work early, who are proactive and energetic individuals, who are not afraid to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. We are on the lookout for someone who has great communication skills, attention to detail and enables a successful shopping experience for our customers by ensuring that our products are in the right place at the right time.
We expect you to take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers.
We are looking for someone who has good IT skills & a customer service mindset. You will have the ambition to grow within IKEA and to help develop others too.
FLT license preferable but not necessary.
Warehouse experience is preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As part of the logistics team in the store, you will have the customers at heart.
Inbound - replenishment. This is working with all areas of the store to replenish deliveries. Being able to use computers / scanners to check on locations and fill. Manual handling will be heavily involved with this role.
