Warehouse / Production Assistant
Total Sport NE – Sunderland
Total Sport NE is an expanding sportswear retailer – on the High Street and increasingly online – and we are looking to fill this important vacancy within our company.
We have seen incremental growth year on year and our aim is to continue this upward trend with the right people on board. Our core business is in Teamwear – selling the top brands, including Nike, Adidas, Joma, and Hummel. We have seen rapid growth in sales of school uniforms and PE kit to local schools.
We are looking to employ a Warehouse / Production Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar business would be an advantage but ongoing training will be provided.
Day to day duties could include:
In the Warehouse
- Checking off Goods received
- Fulfilling in-store orders
- Picking and packing online orders
- Shipping customer orders
- Maintaining tidy workspaces
- Maintaining a tidy warehouse
- Stock replenishment
- General warehouse duties
In Production
- Applying personalised print to sports wear / team wear
- Using a heatset press
- Assembling trophy orders
- Personalisation of trophies
- Packing and shipping trophy orders
- Maintaining a tidy workspace
Skills & Attributes:
- We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual who can work accurately and efficiently in a busy retail environment and part of a team.
- This is a dual role, at times operating in the Warehouse area, at others in our Production area, so a flexible attitude to working will be essential.
- Attention to detail is extremely important - and with training - you will aim to get things right, first time.
- You will have the ability to use basic IT software and the adaptability to use production equipment. Experience is an advantage but on the job training will be provided.
- You should have a positive, can-do attitude and a desire to succeed in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
