Job description

Quality Assurance Inspector

Priority Appointments is a family owned and operated business located in Yateley. We are a growing, dynamic, and fast-paced manufacturing facility that is committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail. The QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the best products possible. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The position requires strong communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
  • Verify that all product is in good condition by testing each product for defects or quality attributes
  • Review all incoming documents for accuracy before being sent out to customers
  • Ensure that all customer invoices are accurate by checking them over before submitting them for payment
  • Review all outgoing correspondence for accuracy before sending out to customers
  • Prepare and submit customer returns (not including shipping) by following instructions on the web site or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-876-4276
  • Submit all requests for changes or corrections by calling Customer Service at 1-800-876-4276
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and writing skills. Strong listening skills are also required.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and work independently. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to follow instructions when given direction but also be able to ask questions when needed. Must have the ability to work in a team environment but also be able to work individually as needed. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time while being attentive to detail.
