Responsibilities:

Order Processing:

  • Receive and review customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Use our warehouse management systems (WMS) to locate, pick, and pack items for shipment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and error-free order processing.
  • Collaborate with team members to address any order-related issues or exceptions.

Packaging and Labelling:

  • Package customer orders securely and appropriately, adhering to packaging standards and guidelines.
  • Apply labels, barcodes, and other necessary identifiers to ensure accurate tracking and delivery of orders.
  • Conduct quality checks to verify the correct items and quantities are included in each package.

Inventory Support:

  • Assist in inventory management activities, including receiving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise.
  • Conduct periodic stock checks and assist in cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborate with the team to organize and optimize warehouse space.

Quality Control:

  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality.
  • Participate in quality control processes, such as conducting inspections and reporting any product or packaging defects.
  • Follow established quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with colleagues and supervisors to address any challenges or issues.
  • Support and assist teammates as needed, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the e-commerce fulfilment or logistics industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with technology, such as order management systems or warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as required by business needs.
  • Positive and "can do" attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From £10.90 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
