Warehouse Picker / Packer - Night Shift Gateshead, England
Job description
We are working on behalf of one of our clients in the Gateshead area who are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team. This is a temporary ongoing position.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Working from a pick list to pack and prepare orders and ensure they are sent out to the customer on time and correctly
- Working to daily targets
- Off loading deliveries, scanning goods on receipt, moving onto pallets and putting stock away
- Wrapping and sealing of products
- Labelling products ready for despatch
- Ensuring orders are completed on time
- General housekeeping tasks
Experience
- Experience in a production, warehouse or factory environment is desirable but not essential
- Any previous experience in the use of any Manual Handling Equipment such as LOLOPs or Fork Lift Truck experience would be an advantage
- This role does require manually lifting the materials so applicants must be physically fit
Pay rate is £10.13p/hr plus £19.64 per shift worked (averages at £12.58 per hour).
Hours of work will be 10.00pm - 6.00am Sunday to Thursday working constant night shift.
