Role and Responsibilities

Following our recent growth we are looking for a Picker Packer ideally with some previous experience although not mandatory as we are happy to train the right candidate. We tend to recruit on character, if you are punctual, reliable, accurate, have an eye for detail and can deal with frequent change we would love to speak to you. The objective is to satisfy customer and store orders but also help with inbound deliveries and general stock management tasks. Key duties listed below.

  • Accurately and efficiently pick and pack orders according to established productivity and quality standards.
  • Use courier portals to purchase the correct label based on zone and priority.
  • Ensure couriers collect on time and on the agreed standards.
  • Use appropriate packaging based on product size and type.
  • Replenish picking locations from bulk storage.
  • Assist in maintaining security and safety.
  • Placing incoming items in inventory.
  • Process a small number of customer and suplier returns.
  • Participate in conducting warehouse inventory counts.
  • Provide feedback and participate in problem-solving and complete agreed actions.
  • Liase with customer services to resolve customer queries.
  • Self-identifie mistakes, identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Pick store stock transfers.
  • Maintaining good visual standards.
  • Keeping up to date with product information.
  • Adhering to all companies’ policies and procedures and CI initiatives / trials.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the below is preferable although training will be provided:

  • Warehouse experience
  • Online retailing
  • Basic understanding of sales and customer service principles and practices.
  • Customer service focused, friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality.
  • Comfortable with systems and accurately handling computer admin tasks
  • Can work as a team player and on their own device.
  • Ability to adapt with frequent change and learn quickly.
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take feedback, self reflect and improve.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
