Position Overview:We are seeking a Warehouse Picker/Packer with strong skills in warehouse management and experience using the Linnworks system. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our ecommerce brand's warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing orders, managing stock levels, and utilizing the Linnworks system to streamline warehouse processes.Key Responsibilities:1. Picking and Packing:Accurately pick items from shelves or storage locations according to customer orders.Safely and securely pack items for shipping, ensuring they are protected from damage during transit.Verify the accuracy of orders to minimize errors and maintain high customer satisfaction.2. Linnworks System:Proficiently use the Linnworks system to manage orders, track inventory, and generate shipping labels.Maintain and update product listings and inventory levels within Linnworks to reflect real-time availability.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Linnworks to ensure smooth operations.3. Stock Management:Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.Conduct regular stock counts and audits to reconcile inventory with Linnworks data.Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.4. Warehouse Organization:Keep the warehouse organized and clean for efficient workflow and safety.Ensure all products are stored in designated locations, and that these locations are accurately recorded in Linnworks.Implement efficient shelving and storage solutions to optimize space utilization.5. Quality Control:Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to maintain high-quality standards.Identify and report any damaged or defective items, and work with the team to resolve issues.6. Documentation:Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including receipts, shipments, and inventory adjustments.Generate reports as needed to provide insights into warehouse performance.7. Team Collaboration:Work closely with fellow warehouse team members to ensure a smooth and coordinated workflow.Communicate effectively with other departments, such as customer service and logistics, to resolve issues and fulfill orders efficiently.Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar warehouse role, particularly in an ecommerce setting.Proficiency in using the Linnworks system or similar warehouse management software.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software.Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse environment.Preferred Qualifications:Forklift certification or experience.Knowledge of shipping carriers and procedures.Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order management systems.Experience with barcode scanning technology.Job Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:Huddersfield, HD4 4AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (preferred)Application deadline: 03/10/2023Expected start date: 02/10/2023
