As a Gadget Express Warehouse Colleague, you'll work as part of a team to help all our customers receive their packages on time and in a good condition. All you need to do is follow your training in processes and safety, and achieve your performance targets which will help us achieve our goals. Your role will involve working with gadgets, beauty, clothing home and garden products, picking, packing and despatching. Flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills will be key.
This opportunity is for a full-time post with working hours, 9:00am to 5:30pm, 5 days per week. There is also a requirement to work additional shifts (paid) across the year to help support our busiest periods.
We also have a bonus system in place that is in addition to the standard salary.
Responsibilities:
- Pack items to be shipped.
- Use lifting equipment and tools to move boxes that are too heavy to carry.
- Stow merchandise in trucks or containers according to specific manufacturer guidelines.
- Make sure all lifted materials are handled safely, in accordance with company policy.
- Keep accurate records of products packed and palletized for shipping.
- Ensure that all merchandise is packaged securely.
- Ensure that all products meet product specifications before packing them for shipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
