Job Description:
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Road and Sewer Design Engineer to join a team to produce and complete in house road and sewer designs.
You will be responsible for managing technical and site infrastructure matters from pre-development through to construction and final estate adoption/closure.
Responsible for securing and ensuring that all technical information, drawings/details, quotations and acceptances, technical approvals/agreements S38, S278 & S104 are received in accordance with all statutory and planning approval requirements.
Manage budget requirements covering foundations, roads and sewers, drainage, earthwork plans, boundary details, technical design and health and safety requirements.
Person Specification:
To be considered for this role, you will possess a HNC/HND or be degree qualified in Civil Engineering. The role is open to both existing Engineers within the Housing sector or Consultancy Engineers looking transfer across into Housing sector.
~ You will be self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team
~ Possess excellent communication skills both in written form and verbally
~ You will be proficient using the software packages; AutoCAD (Essential)
Photoshop and Sketch Up would be an advantage
