Nairn’s Oatcakes are a growing award winning biscuit manufacturer. With strong values at the root of its culture, Nairn’s is a forward looking and supportive company. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a night shift warehosue palletiser. The successful candidates will be based at our factory at Peffermill Road.

Shift Sunday night to Thursday night 22:30-06:30

Job Type Permanent subject to a 3-month probationary period

Rate of pay £13.22 (including 30% night shift allowance) moving to 13.69 (including 30% night shift allowance) once fully trained

Job description

· Tasks include loading and unloading vehicles following our Traffic Management System and marshalling all vehicles leaving and entering the sites

· Ensuring stocks are correctly stored, completing stock traceability documents, preparing raw materials and packaging for production,

· Preparing export and other orders for despatch, counting stock as well as daily and in-depth cleaning.

· Every part of the job will involve the use of our production software system from understanding the plan and the stocks required for manufacture to completing production work orders and transfer documents for despatches.

· Candidates should have an SVQ level 2 in Food and Drink Operations Distribution Skills or equivalent, or be willing to obtain this in first year of employment with Nairn’s

· Building pallets for customers - attention to detail required.

· Booking stock (in and out) on our computerised stock management system.

· Shows initiative in workplace and is able to adapt successfully to changing situations & environments

· Holds a fork lift licence or willing to obtain a licence within 6 months

Experience Minimum of one-year experience in warehouse operation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £13.22-£13.69 per hour
